The Town of Evans is located in southern Erie County, New York, bordering on Lake Erie, Town of Hamburg, Town of Eden and Town of Brant, encompassing 42 square miles with major traffic routes of N.Y.S. Route 5 and Route 20, along with an exit for the New York State Thruway.

The Town of Evans encompasses the Village of Angola with a combined population of approximately 20,000 people.
